RESOLUTION NO. 85-48 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA Ab/~NDINO RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD ~D Nt~ CLASSES TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN WrlI~REAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution 82-110 revising and re-establishing the basic Classification amzl Compensation Plan for Officers and ]~aployees of the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and WHEREAS, on March 4, 1985, City Council approved an amencknent to said Resolution effecting a number of position classification and pay changes for the purpose of imple~nenting an administrative reorganization plan; and ~REAS, on said date, City Council also deferred action on two proposed now classes included in the reorganization plan pending receipt of additional information frc~nStaff; and WHEREAS, it is now desired to add two new class titles at appraI~iate salary levels to the City's Basic Classification and Corrpensation Plan in order to properly classify and compensate two new positions assigned to the Cemutmications and Marketing Division of the City Manager's Office. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as ame~ed, is hereby further amended by: b. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the following class titles at the salary rate ranges as next thereto set out: Class Title Salary Rate Range No. (Min.-Max.) Chief Video Engineer 526 (2717-3302) Staff Assistant/Writer 461 (1977-2402) 2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after ~rch 18, 1985.
