RESOLUTION NO. 85-56 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD THE CLASS TITLE OF <br />LEGISLATIVE ANALYST TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND <br />COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982 the City Council passed and <br />adopted Resolution NO. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the basic <br />Classification and Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of <br />the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the <br />City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and <br />maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service <br />rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ City Council has from time to time amended said <br />Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new class title for the <br />purpose of classifying and setting an appropriate salary level for a <br />newly authorized position in the Intergovernmental Relations Office. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution NO. 82-110, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the <br />class title of Legislative Analyst at Salary Rate Range No. 513, $2548 <br />to $3098 per month. <br /> <br />1, 1985. <br /> <br />That this Resolution shall be operative from and after May <br /> <br /> Daniel E.
