RESOLUTION NO. 85-66 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD THE NEW CLASS OF <br />CIRCULATION SERVICES SUPERVISOR TO THE CITY'S BASIC <br />CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982 the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the basic Classification <br />and Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the City of Santa Ana; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of <br />Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a <br />position classification and pay plan subject ot civil service rules and <br />regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to properly classify and compensate an improperly <br />classified supervisory position in the Library's central circulation <br />section it ia now desired to establish a new classification at an <br />appropriate salary level. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution NO. 82-110, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended by adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new class <br />title of CIRCULATION SERVICES SUPERVISOR at Salary Rate Range NO. 444, <br />$1820 to $2212 per month. <br /> <br />1985. <br /> <br />That this Resolution shall be operative from and after May 1, <br /> <br /> Daniel E.
