REL .' adg/a <br />5/28/85 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85- 68 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY ~F SANTA ~NA APPRDVING (JONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT NO. 85-12 TO ALLOW ~N 81-UNIT <br />PRO3ECr LOCATED AT 1421 LA BONITA STREET <br />IN THE R2-P~D DISTRICT <br /> <br /> ~MEI~AS, this Cot~cil held a public hearin~ on May 20, <br />1985 on Conditional Use Permit Application No. 85-12 to allow an <br />81-u~it procec~, on property located at 1421 La Bonita Street in the <br />R2-P~D district, and shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit A <br />and incorporated herein by reference; and <br /> <br /> WHE1REAS, prior to taking action on the said applica- <br />tion, this~2oumcil' reviewed and approved the negative declaration <br />prepared for the project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEI~FORE, BE IT I~SOLVED BY ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FO~: <br /> <br /> 1. Based upon the evidence su~nitted at the abovesaid <br />hearing, this Co~cil finds and determines as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The approval of this conditional use permit will <br />allow for develcpment of the subject property in a manner that <br />will serve to enhance the property and benefit the neighborhood <br />by providing a desirable residential envirorment. The 81 units <br />will provide needed housing for a number of citizens in conformance <br />with the city's General Plan and N~development Plan. <br /> <br /> (b) The project will not be detrimental to the health, <br />safety, or general welfare of persons residin~ or working in the <br />vicinity since the proposal will substantially upgrade the site <br />and enhance the area. <br /> <br /> (c) The proposed residential development will be an <br />econcmically beneficial addition to the cut.tLunity by substantially <br />increasing the value of a primarily undeveloped site while enhancing <br />the econcmic stability of adjacent properties. <br /> <br /> (d) N-=ceiving approval of this conditional use permit, <br />subject to the conditions of approval, will meet the intent and <br />purpose of the zoning code by providing a high quality residential <br />condcminium project. <br /> <br /> <br />
