RESOLUTION NO. 85- 120 <br />PAGE TWO <br /> <br />identification sign being proposed is more acceptable <br />than the alternative of Dermitting each dealership <br />individual copy on their respective sites which would <br />present a cluttering of signs on the Auto Mall sites. <br /> <br /> (d) The granting of this variance is consistent <br />with the General Plan of the City which promotes <br />employment opportunities, improvement of the economic <br />base and intensified development in the Industrial <br />District. <br /> <br /> 2. Variance 85-17 is hereby approved, subject to the <br />following limitations, requirements and conditions: <br /> <br /> (a) The sign shall not exceed 60 feet in height <br />or 414 square feet in size. <br /> <br /> (b) The design of the sign shall conform to the <br />design drawings submitted to the City Council at the <br />time of its hearing on this variance. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 2~$t day of October <br /> <br />, 1985. <br /> <br />Daniel E.
