REL:adg-22 <br /> 11/1/85 <br />Rev. 12/2/85 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85-139 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE <br />LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa <br />Ana, after duly noticed public hearing, approved amendments to <br />the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set <br />forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the <br />initial environmental study and negative declaration prepared <br />for such proposed General Plan amendments; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hear- <br />ing, concurs in the Planning Commission's approval of said <br />General Plan amendments; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The adoption of the said General Plan amendments will <br />not have a significant effect on the environment, and the negative <br />declaration prepared for said amendments is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. The "Land Use Plan" of the Land Use Element of the <br />General Plan of the City of Santa Ana is hereby amended in the <br />following particulars: <br /> <br /> (a) The land use category of "Urban Center Residential" <br />is established with a maximum density of 90 dwelling units <br />per acre. <br /> <br /> (b) Minimum dwelling unit densities are eliminated from <br />all residential land use categories. <br /> <br /> <br />
