RESOLUTION NO. 85-152 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE <br /> . ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM THE <br /> REPA~IR AND RESURFACING OF CERTAIN <br /> STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to <br />improve certain: s~reets within ~the City; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Articles 2 and 3 of Chapter 9, Division <br />2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of <br />California authorize a county to expend funds apportioned to <br />it out of the California Highway Users' Tax Fund for aid to <br />any city for the improvement, construction, or repair of <br />streets within such city; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County <br />of Orange intends to provide in the County budget of the <br />Special Road Improvement Fund for Fiscal Year 1986-87 a sum <br />of money for the improvement of streets within the <br />incorporated cities of the County in accordance with the <br />Orange County Arterial Highway Financing Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA; <br /> <br /> That'the City of Santa Aha does hereby request <br />the Board of Supervisors Of the County of Orange to allocate <br />to the City of Santa Ana in said budget for Fiscal Year <br />1986-87, from County funds, the amount of $961,500 for t:he <br />repair and resurfacing of certain streets, as follows: <br /> <br />PROJECT LIMITS <br /> <br />ESTIMATED <br />EXPENDITURES <br /> <br /> REQUESTED <br />AHFP FUNDING <br /> <br />Fairview $ 801,000 <br />Repair and Resurfacing Costs <br />First Street to Edinger Avenue <br /> <br />Fairview $ <br />Repair and Resurfacing Costs <br />Trask Street to North <br /> City Limits <br /> <br />$ 400,500 <br /> <br />107,000 $ 53,500 <br /> <br />First Street $ 1,015,000 <br />Repair and Resurfacing Costs <br />Bristol to Sullivan <br /> <br />$ 507,500 <br /> <br /> <br />
