031 <br /> <br />REL .' adg-22 <br />1/7/87 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87- 8 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE <br />LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa <br />Aha, after duly noticed public hearing, approved amendments to <br />the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set <br />forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the <br />initial environmental study and negative declaration prepared <br />for such proposed General Plan amendments; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hear- <br />ing, concurs in the Planning Commission's approval of said <br />General Plan amendments; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The adoption of the said General Plan amendments will <br />not have a significant effect on the environment, and the negative <br />declaration prepared for said amendments is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. The Land Use Element of the General Plan is hereby <br />amended by adding thereto a new land use designation, to be <br />entitled "Industrial/Residential." Real property to which the <br />said Industrial/Residential designation applies may be used and <br />developed for either industrial or residential uses, provided <br />that the density of residential development shall not exceed <br />15 dwelling units per acre. The purpose of the Industrial/ <br />Residential land use designation is to provide a land use <br />designation which is appropriate to allow the use and develop- <br />ment of property in the "Logan Area" of the City of Santa Ana <br />in accordance with the "X-Suffix" zoning regulations applicable <br />to such area pursuant to Ordinance No. NS-1490, adopted by the <br />City Council on July 2, 1979. <br /> <br /> <br />
