--085 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-14 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE ORANGE COUNTY <br />TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION TO ALLOCATE ORANGE <br />COUNTY UNIFIED TRANSPORTATION TRUST (OCUTT) <br />FUNDS FOR EDINGER AVENUE FROM MAPLE STREET <br />TO 600' EAST OF STANDARD AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 1512, Statutes of 1985 allows the <br />Orange County Transportation Commission to allocate funds from <br />the rapid transit reserve to local agencies for the improvement, <br />construction, or repair of local streets and roads; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Commission <br />approved a $12 million OCUTT Streets and Roads Program on April <br />14, 1986 covering fiscal years 1986-87 through 1988-89; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the three-year program includes $210,000 in <br />fiscal year 1986-1987 for a street reconstruction project on <br />Edinger Avenue from Maple Street to 600' east of Standard Avenue. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana hereby requests the Orange County Trans- <br />portation Commission allocate $ 11,900 for construction engineer- <br />ing and $ 170,500 for construction for a total of $ 182,400 in <br />OCUTT funds to the City. This request is in conformance with the <br />OCUTT allocation process and does not exceed ninety (90) percent <br />of the OCUTT allocation programmed for the project. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Santa Aha <br />agrees to fund its share of the improvement costs in fiscal year <br />1986-1987 and any additional costs over the programmed OCUTT <br />amount of $210,000. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Santa Aha has <br />awarded the contract for the project on Edinger Avenue for <br />$ 432,575.00. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Santa Ana has <br />1) designed the project improvements in accordance with the <br />City's design standards, 2) acquired right-of-way for the pro- <br />ject in conformance with the City's policies and procedures, and <br />3) completed and certified all required environmental documenta- <br />tion for the project. <br /> <br /> <br />
