RESOLUTION NO. 87- 45 225 REL:jd(32) 4/21/87 (Rev. 6/15/87 mb) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADDING THE AIRPORT ENVIRONS ELEMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, the Orange County Airport Land Use Commis- sion has adopted an "Airport Environs Land Use Plan" pursuant to Section 21675 of the Public Utilities code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana desires to amend the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana to promote consistency of the said General Plan with the Airport Environs Land Use Plan of the Orange County Airport Land Use Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana is hereby amended by adding an element, to be entitled the "Airport Environs Element," which reads as follows: AIRPORt ENVIRONS ELEMENT A. Definitions As used herein the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) "OCALUC" means the Orange County Airport Land Use Commission. (2) "AELUP" Means the Airport Environs Land Use Plan of the OCALUC. (3) "CNEL" means the Community Noise Equivalent Level, a noise measurement system commonly used for planning and regulatory purposes. (4) "Director" shall mean the Executive Director of the Planning and Building Safety Agency of the City of Santa Aha and his or her designated representatives. (5) "Department" means the Planning Department of the City of Santa Ana. (6) "FAA" Means the Federal Aviation Administration. (7) "FAR Part 77" means Part 77 (entitled "Objects Affecting Navigable Airspace") of the Federal Aviation Regulations as the same now exists or as hereafter amended.
