RESOLUTION NO. 87- 72. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 86-59 TO ADD THE NEW MIDDLE- <br />MANAGEMENT CLASS OF ENTERPRISE MANAGER TO THE BASIC <br />CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN FOR UNREPRESENTED MANAGEMENT <br />EMPLOYEES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 7, 1986, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 86-59, re-establishing the Basic Classification and <br />Compensation Plan for classes of employment designated as unrepresented <br />executive and middle-management, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City <br />of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a <br />position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and <br />regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to again amend said Resolution in <br />order to add a new middle-management classification to the classification <br />and pay plan for unrepresented executive and middle management personnel. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3B of Resolution No. 86-59, as amended <br />pertaining to middle-management classes of employment, is hereby further <br />amended by adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new class of <br />ENTERPRISE MANAGER and assigning such new class to Salary Rate Range No. <br />M-18 which includes minimum to maximum hiring rates of $3372 to $4008 per <br />month. <br /> <br /> 2.
