RESOLUTION NO. 87-73 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD TWO NEW CLASS <br />TITLES TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND <br />COMPENSATION PLAN FOR NON-MANAGEMENT CLASSES <br />OF EMPLOYMENT <br /> <br /> WMEREAS, on August 2, 1982 the City <br />Resolution No. 82-110 revising and <br />Classification and Compensation Plan for <br />employment for the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br />Council passed and adopted <br />re-establishing the Basic <br />Non-Management classes of <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004 Article X of the City Charter of the City <br />of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install amd' maintain a <br />position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and <br />regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has from time to time amended said <br />Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with the adoption of the annual budget for Fiscal Year <br />1987-88, the City Council authorized certain organizational and staffing <br />changes which require the addition of two new classes to the City's Basic <br />Classification and Compensation 'Plan in order to properly classify and <br />compensate several restructured positions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend said Resolution to add two <br />new classes at appropriate salary levels. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> I. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the <br />following class titles at the salary rate range as next thereto set out: <br /> <br />Class Title <br /> <br />Salary Rate Range <br />No. (Min.-Max.) <br /> <br />Building Inspection Technician 467 ($2037-$2475) <br />Inspections Training Coordinator 507 ($2475-$3010) <br /> <br /> <br />
