Mr. Mendoza distributed a revised annual audit report. He highlighted the <br />report and recognized some revisions made to the final report. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />ONE STOP CAPITAL SHOP presented by Jim Davis <br /> <br />Director Davis indicated that staff is reviewing 10-15 possible locations for <br />the BISC. Legal Counsel Kaufman indicated that the Budget and Program <br />Taskforce will approve the relocation site and then come to the Board for <br />final approval. <br /> <br />BOARD TASKFORCE REPORT <br /> <br />MARKETING TASKFORCE presented by Victoria Zaragoza <br /> <br />Director Zaragoza indicated that the Delhi Center sign is up, and the <br />Certificates for allocated programs and Warner site sign are coming <br />shortly. She indicated that the Marketing taskforce is preparing for the <br />annual conference at Century High School where they will have a booth <br />and hand out pencils and rulers. Additionally, they will be having a poster <br />contest where a school uniform will be raffled to elementary children, K-6th <br />grade. Furthermore, she stated that they will have a strategic overview <br />meeting on 3rd Tuesday and invited all to attend. <br /> <br />NEW MEMBER REVIEW TASKFORCE presented by Paul Garza <br /> <br />Director Garza noted that the taskforce has developed a new member <br />orientation. Also, they will include resumes and applications from <br />residents interested in serving on the board. The proposed orientation will <br />include a tour of the City, recommended annual retreat, and quarterly <br />retraining. The taskforce will provide detailed information at next month's <br />meeting. Furthermore, he indicated that they are actively recruiting for an <br />Area 1 Resident Representative. <br /> <br />BUDGET AND PROGRAM TASKFORCE presented by Dr. Eddie <br />Hernandez <br /> <br />Director Hernandez stated the difficulty in reviewing mounds of <br />applications and funding programs that meet Board strategies.
