493 <br /> <br />A RESOI/3TION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AM~qDING RESOLUTION NO. 86-59 TO ADD, DELETE AND CHANGE <br />CEI~rAIN CLASS TITLES CONTAINED IN 7tie BASIC CLASSIFICATION <br />AND Cfl~PENSATION PLAN FOR UNREPRESENTED EXECUTIVE AND MIDDLE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 7, 1986, the City Cour~il passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 86-59, re-establishin~ the Basic Classification and <br />Ccmpensation Plan for classes of employment designated as unrepresented <br />executive and middle-management; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City <br />of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a <br />position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and <br />regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of the reorganization of certain operations <br />in the Cc~munity Development Department it is now desired to reclassify a <br />currently vacant position in a now inappropriate classification and pay <br />level to a new job class at a lower salary level; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is also desired to change the title only of an <br />existin~ class in the deputy city attorney series of classes in order to <br />provide a title more appropriate and descriptive of the level of <br />responsibility and authority assigned to the class. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. ~hat Section 3B of Resolution No. 86-59 pertaining to <br />Middle-Management classes of employment, is hereby a~ended by: <br /> <br /> a. Deleting the class title of Operations and Finance <br />Manager (~) at Salary Range M-26. <br /> <br /> b. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the class <br />title of A~MINISTRATIVE SERVICES MANAGER (~) at Salary Range M-22 (with <br />a minimum to maximum hiring rate range of $3722-$4424). <br /> <br /> c. Chan~iag the class title of Deputy City Attorney III <br />(~) to Senior Deputy City Attorney (~q) at no chan~e in currently <br />assigned salary level. <br /> <br /> <br />
