PAC- ~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE <br />FOR PROPOSED BRISTOL CORRIDOR REDEVELOP- <br />MENT PROJECT OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ADOPTING A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Project Area Committee for the proposed <br />Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project has been established <br />by Resolution 87-78 of the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha, adopted October 19, 1987; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Fair Political Practices Commission of the <br />State of California, by its opinion number 86-001, dated <br />May 12, 1987, has determined that members of a Redevelopment <br />Project Area Committee are "public ~ficials" subject to the <br />conflict of interest provisions of the Political Reform Act;. <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it Ks therefore necessary for the Project Area <br />Committee for the proposed Bristol Corridor Redevelopment <br />Project to adopt a Conflict of Interest Code in accordance <br />with the Political Reform Act~ <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Project Area Com- <br />mittee of the proposed Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project <br />that the Conflict of Interest Code for said Project Area <br />Committee shall consist of the model code set forth in Regu- <br />lation 18730 of the Fair Political Practices Commission of <br />the State of California, incorporated herein by reference, <br />together with the following Appendix: <br /> <br /> 1. For purposes of the abovesaid model code and the <br />Statement of Economic Interest forms (FPPC Form 730), all <br />members of the Project Area Committee shall be considered <br />"designated employees" who are required to file such State- <br />ments of Economic Interest forms. Ail such members shall <br />be considered to be in the same 'disclosure category,' which <br />requires reporting of the types of interests hereinbelow <br />described. <br /> <br /> 2. Each member of the Project Area Committee shall <br />report any and all of the following types of economic <br />interests held or received by such member during the period <br />covered by such member's Statement of Economic Interests: <br /> <br /> (a) Any interest in real property which is located <br />in or adjacent to the Project Area. <br /> <br /> (b) Any investment in a business entity which <br />owns or leases real property or building space which <br />is located in or adjacent to the Project Area. <br /> <br />EXH 81T A <br /> ?.1 <br /> <br /> <br />
