REL:mb(14) <br /> /1 /88 -- 3391 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-51 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA TO PROVIDE ANNUAL RE- <br />QUALIFICATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE <br />ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR 1988-89 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Articles 2 and 3 of Chapter 9, Division 2, <br />of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of California <br />authorize a County to expend funds apportioned to it out of the <br />California Highway Users' Tax Fund for aid to any city for the <br />improvement, construction, or repair of streets within such <br />City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the procedure manual for the Arterial High- <br />way Financing Program (AHFP) requires annual requalification <br />of participating cities in the program by affirming with the <br />AHFP Advisory Committee that the City's Master Plan of Arterial <br />Highways is mutually satisfactory and in conformance with that <br />of the County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has uniform setback <br />requirements to protect ultimate arterial highway right-of-way; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has a General Plan <br />Circulation Element with provisions for the limitation of access <br />to the arterial highway system. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA; <br /> <br /> That the City's Master Plan of Arterial Highways is <br />mutually satisfactory and in conformance with those of its adjacent <br />governmental jurisdictions and with the County's Master Plan of <br />Arterial Highways. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 5th <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br />~C~e~eofC'tGhUeYcouncll~ / -- <br /> <br />__ day of July <br /> <br />, 1988. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />Young <br />McGuigan <br />Acosta <br />Griset <br />Hart <br />May <br />Pulido <br /> <br />Aye <br />Ae <br /> <br />Absent <br />'~e <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Edwaf~J ,( Co~bper <br />City At t oI'1%~y <br /> <br />I Iii <br /> <br /> <br />
