379 <br /> <br />REL:mb(22) <br />7/15/88 <br />Rev. 8/16/88 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-6] <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF <br />THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />(GPA 88-4) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa <br />Ana, after duly noticed public hearing, approved amendments <br />to the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set <br />forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered <br />the initial environmental study and negative declaration pre- <br />pared for such proposed General Plan amendments; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hear- <br />ing, concurs in the Planning Commission's approval of said General <br />Plan amendments; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />not have <br />negative <br />approved. <br /> <br />The adoption of the said General Plan amendments will <br />a significant effect on the environment, and the <br />declaration prepared for said amendments is hereby <br /> <br /> 2. The "Land Use Plan" of the Land Use Element of the <br />General Plan of the City of Santa Ana is hereby amended in the <br />following particulars: <br /> <br /> (a) Those areas of the city shown as Ia through Ie <br />on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, are redes- <br />ignated from one land use category to another as follows: <br /> <br /> (1) Area Ia is redesignated from the "Multi-Use <br />Corridor" category to the "General Business District" category. <br /> <br /> (2) Area Ib is redesignated from the "Multi-Use <br />Corridor" category to the "Medium Density Residential" category. <br /> <br /> (3) Area Ic is redesignated from the "Multi-Use <br />Corridor" category to the "General Business District" category. <br /> <br /> (4) Area Id is redesignated from the "Low Density <br />Residential" category to the "General Business District" category. <br /> <br /> (5) Area Ie is redesignated from the "Low Density <br />Residential" category to the "General Business District" category. <br /> <br /> (b) That area of the city shown as 2 on Exhibit B, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein, is redesignated from <br />the "Low Density Residential" land use category to the "General <br />Business District" category. <br /> <br /> <br />
