RESOLUTION NO. 89-14 <br /> <br />' - ::047 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMMqDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO PROVIDE EQUITY <br /> <br />MMPLOYMMNT SERVICES SECTION A~) CHANGE ONE CLASS TITLE <br /> <br /> WH~LEAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of <br />Santa Ana re~Hres the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a <br />position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and <br />regulations and the approval of the City Cotmcil; and <br /> <br /> WH~IEAS, on A~gust 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 82-110 revising and reestablishing the Basic Classification and <br />Compensation Plan for Officers and Fmployees of th~ City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WH~{EAS, there is a need to adjust compensation for three federally <br />funded professional and technical classes in the Fmploym~nt Services section <br />of the Cu.~m~nity Development Deparm~nt, to provide pay levels com.~usurate <br />with assigned duties and responsibilities and to ensure reertdtm~nt and <br />retention of qualified individuals in these classes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, class titles should appropriately reflect current duties and <br />organizational relationships in the Comnunity Development Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to -mm~nd said Resolution in order to (1) <br />properly compensate the existing classes of Job Developer, Special Employment <br />Development Assistant and Special ~-?l~t Developm~=nt Associate; and (2) <br />change one class title at no change in currently assigned salary level. <br /> <br />NOW, ~qEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution 82-110, as -m~nded, is hereby <br />further amended by: <br /> <br /> a. (hanging the salary rate ranges assigned to the following <br />class titles, as shown next hereto: <br /> <br />Job Developer <br />Special m~ployment <br /> Development Assistant <br />Special m,ployment <br /> Development Associate <br /> <br />425 ($1659-2017) <br />425 ($1659-2017) <br />475 ($2118-2574) <br /> <br />481 ($2179-2650) <br />481 ($2179-2650) <br />521 ($2650-3221) <br /> <br /> b. Changing the existing class title of Property Rehabilitation <br />Aide to Property Rehabilitation Assistant, at no change in currently assigned <br />salary level. <br /> <br /> <br />
