REL:mb(18) <br />4/14/89 <br /> <br />239 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-0~8 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE <br />GENERAL PLAN TO ESTABLISH NEW BUILDING <br />INTENSITY STANDARDS FOR THE PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 2720 HOTEL TERRACE DRIVE <br />(GPA 89-5). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa <br />Ana, after duly noticed public hearing, approved an amendment <br />to the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set <br />forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the <br />initial study and negative declaration prepared for such general <br />plan amendment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hearing, <br />concurs in the Planning Commission's approval of said General Plan <br />amendment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The adoption of said General Plan amendment will not <br />have a significant effect on the environment and the negative <br />declaration prepared for said amendment is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. The Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of <br />Santa Ana is hereby amended to establish a floor area ratio of <br />1.0 as the building intensity maximum for that certain area of <br />the city located at 2720 Hotel Terrace Drive and more specifically <br />identified on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 3. As used herein "floor area ratio" shall have the same <br />meaning and be determined in the same manner as set forth in <br />General Plan Amendment 88-2, approved by this Council by its <br />Resolution No. 89-18, adopted February 21, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
