REL:mb(34) <br />6/28/89 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-(382 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING A <br />PARKING PERMIT SYSTEM FOR USE IN CER- <br />TAIN METERED PARKING LOTS OF THE CITY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has authorized the installation <br />of parking meters in those municipal parking lots located on <br />the north side of Third Street east of Bush Street and at 308 <br />North Bush Street; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to provide a parking per- <br />mit system for some users of the abovesaid parking lots; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The downtown development director is authorized to <br />establish and implement a parking permit system in the above- <br />said municipal parking lots, subject to the following conditions. <br /> <br /> 2. The fee for a permit shall <br />fee shall be prorated for any permit <br />than one year. <br /> <br />be $100.00 per year. The <br />issued for a period of less <br /> <br /> 3. The permit shall be in the form of a cardboard rec- <br />tangle placed in the front windshield of the vehicle to which <br />it pertains. Permits shall be issued only to persons having a <br />special need therefore, as determined by the downtown develop- <br />ment director. <br /> <br /> 5. The metered parking restrictions applicable to the <br />abovesaid municipal parking lots shall not be in effect with <br />regard to any parking space occupied by a vehicle displaying <br /> <br /> <br />
