RESOLUTION NO. 89- 111 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA APPROVING THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL <br />IMPACT STATEMENT FOR THE BRISTOL STREET <br />WIDENING PROJECT <br /> <br />REL:mb(6A) <br />10/16/89 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana proposes to widen <br />Bristol Street between Memory Lane and Warner Avenue (the <br />"Bristol Street Widening Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due to federal funding, the Bristol Street <br />Widening Project requires compliance with the National Environ- <br />mental Policy Act and the regulations of the Federal Highway <br />Administration enacted pursuant thereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has accordingly pre- <br />pared a draft Environmental Impact Statement in compliance with <br />federal law and regulations for the Bristol Street Widening <br />Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said Draft Environmental Impact Statement <br />has been submitted for public review and comment, including a <br />public hearing held by the Planning Commission on July 10, 1989; <br /> <br />14, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the <br />Bristol Street Widening Project is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. The "preferred alternative," which generally requires <br />some property acquisition from each side of the street, a combi- <br />nation of the alternatives, is hereby approved as the basis for <br />preparation of a specific plan of street alignment for Bristol <br />Street. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 20th day of <br /> <br />November <br /> <br />, 1989. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />c~ice C.
