Gould, Jr. <br /> <br /> Council Chamber <br /> Santa Ana City Hall <br /> April ll, 1961 9:05 P.M. <br /> <br />The Clerk administered the oath of office and oath of allegiance to A. Allen Hall, <br />Royal E. Hubbard and Henry H. Schlueter, duly elected as members of the City Council, <br />for the ensuing term of four years and residing in Wards l, 3 and 5, respectively, <br />and Dr. Herbert T. Stroschein, Dr. Bob Shuler, Jr. and C. Robert Sturgis, duly <br />elected as members of the Board of Education, for the ensuing term of four years, <br />and residing in the Santa Aha School District. Meeting called to order by the <br /> <br />Clerk of the Council. <br />Roll Call Present: <br /> <br /> Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry R, Schlueter, <br /> Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall <br /> <br /> Absent: Councilmen None <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Heinly and seconded by Brewer, that A. Allen Hall be <br />nominated as Mayor of the City of Santa Ana. It was moved by Counci]wmu Hubbard <br />and seconded by $chlueter, that the nomination be closed. <br /> <br />Roll Call Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br /> Noes, Councilmen <br /> Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />Motion unanimously carried. <br /> <br />Royal E. Hubbard be nominated as Vice- <br />Mayor of the City of Santa Ana. Hall <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Counci)m-n Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution en- <br />t it led: <br /> <br /> "ResOlution No. 61-98 expressing appreciation to <br /> Stanley C. Gould, Jr., for his service as City Councilman <br /> of the City of Santa Ana" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, <br /> Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />Mayor Hall presented a Golden Key to the City of Santa Ana to Mr. Stanley C. Gou~,~ <br />Jr., followed by Mr. Gould's expression of appreciation to the members of the City <br />Council and to J. Ogden Markel, former Councilman, and extended good wishes for the <br />continued growth and progress of the City of Santa Aha, as the leading residential <br />and industrial center in Orange County. <br /> <br /> <br />
