REL:jd(31) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-!28 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING <br />PROGRAM THE RECONSTRUCTION OF FLOWER STREET FROM <br />SANTA ANA BOULEVARD TO CIVIC CENTER DRIVE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to improve cer- <br />tain streets within the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of <br />Orange intends to provide in the County budget of the Special <br />Road Improvement Fund for Fiscal Year 1990-91 a sum of money for <br />the improvement of streets within the incorporated cities of the <br />County in accordance with the Orange County Arterial Highway Fi- <br />nancing Program. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA; <br /> <br /> That the City of Santa Ana does hereby request the <br />Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange to allocate to the City <br />of Santa Ana in said budget for Fiscal Year 1990-91, from the <br />County Funds, the amount of $270,800 for the repair and resurfac- <br />ing of Flower Street from Santa Ana Boulevard to Civic Center <br />Drive. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of <br />the County of Orange is hereby requested to find that said work, <br />in the manner provided, is in the general interest of the County. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that by this Resolution, the <br />City of Santa Ana agrees with the basic concepts of the Arterial <br />Highway Financing Program, and further agrees that its share of <br />the cost of improvements will be available for the Fiscal Year <br />1990-91. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 20th day of December , 1989. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />Young Absent <br />Acosta ~e <br />Griset Aye <br />May <br />McGuigan A3e <br />Norton Aye <br />Pulido <br /> <br />DA~IEL H.
