<br />Councilman Heinly disqualified himself on the following matter. A communication
<br />was again presented from the General Manager, A. B. C. Store, 3328 West Bolsa Avenu
<br />requesting a traffic signal to be placed on Bolsa Avenue at the A.B.C. Store. The
<br />Manager orally rec~ended that no action be taken at this time until the intersec-
<br />tion of Bolsa Avenue and Jackson Street is rechannelized.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the following
<br />persons were appointed to serve as members on the Charter Review C~mnittee: Messrs.
<br />Ellis C. Diehl, Stewart S. McPherson, Thomas F. Larsen, Milford ~. Dahl and William
<br />C. Jerome.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the following
<br />persons were reappointed to serve as m~mbers on various Boards and Co~m~lssions:

<br /> _Mrs. Frances Gould, as member of the Bowers Memorial Museum Board, term
<br />C# $5to expire July 1, 1965;
<br /> Arthur M. Bradley, as member of the Library Board, term to expire
<br /> June 30, 1965;
<br /> Thomas F. Larsen, as member of the Personnel Board, term to expire
<br /> July l, 1965;
<br /> William J. Stauffer, as member of the Personnel Board, term to
<br /> expire July 1, 1965;
<br /> Lee Smith, as member of the Planning Conmaission, term to expire
<br /> July 1, 1965; and
<br /> Mrs. Clark Dye, as member of the Board of Recreation and Parks,
<br /> term to expire July t, 1965.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution en-
<br />t it led ."

<br /> markings in accordance therewith"
<br />
<br />establi~him4~ No Parking Zones on the east side of Sycemore Street, between Fifteent
<br />and Seventeenth Streets, as recormnended by the Department of Public Works, was con-
<br />sidered and passed by the following vote:

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the oral re-
<br />quest of John Ko Colwell, City Attorney, was granted, to leave the State from Sep-
<br />tember 19 through 30, 1961, and from September 2~ through 28 to attend the National
<br />Institute of Municipal Law Officers, New York City, with expenses paid to attend
<br />the Conference.
