The proposed project shall comply with city standards described in the General <br />Plan as they apply to buildings and parking structures located in a floodplain. <br /> <br />397 <br /> <br />NOISE <br /> <br />During the construction phase, noise levels will increase in the vicinity of the site. Adiacent land <br />uses could be adversely affected by construction-related noise. <br /> <br />Finding <br /> <br />Finding I: Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project which <br /> avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect identified in the final <br /> EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in Support of Findings <br /> <br />The significant effect has been substantially lessened to the extent feasible by virtue of the design <br />considerations and the mitigation measures identified in the Final EIR and incorporated into the <br />project. These measures are as follows: <br /> <br />All construction activities shall be limited to the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., <br />Monday through Saturday. No construction shall be permitted on Sundays or <br />federal holidays. <br /> <br />2. Where appropriate, construction equipment shall be muffled to reduce <br /> construction noise impacts. <br /> <br />3. All construction activities shall comply with all local, state, and federal <br /> construction noise regulations. <br /> <br />Significant Effect <br /> <br />Vehicular tire noise generated within the proposed parking structures could increase noise levels <br />in the vicinity of the project site during the life of the project. <br /> <br />JB1/O88501XI1.SOF 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
