403 <br /> <br />PUBLIC SERVICES, UTILITIES~ AND ENERGY CONSUMIVI'ION <br /> <br />The project would contribute to the cumulative need for additional fire protection and emergency <br />manpower and equipment due to the increased number of responses and likelihood of <br />simultaneous and greater alarm incidents. <br /> <br />Finding <br /> <br />Finding 1: Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project which <br /> avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect identified in the Final <br /> EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in Support of Findings <br /> <br />The significant effect has been substantially lessened to the extent feasible by virtue of the design <br />considerations and the mitigation measures identified in the Final EIR and incorporated into the <br />project. These measures are as follows: <br /> <br />The project applicant shall pay a fire facilities fcc to the city let acquisition of <br />fire department personnel and equipment. <br /> <br />Prior to building permit issuance, the City of Santa Aha shall require that thc <br />project plans include built-in fire protection in individual buildings when <br />circulated fire flow exceeds 3,500 gallons per minute. <br /> <br />The project is estimated to consume approximately 5 million kWh of electricity annually. <br />Finding <br /> <br />Finding 1: Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project which <br /> avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect identilied in the final <br /> EIR. <br /> <br />J BI/O8850001.SOF 15 <br /> <br /> <br />
