REL:mb 11/20/90 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-]08 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DECLARING THE <br />RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br />ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON <br />NOVEMBER 6, 1990. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter of the City of Santa <br />Ana, a general municipal election was held in the City of Santa Ana <br />on November 6, 1990 to fill the office of Mayor of said city and <br />the offices of members of the City Council of said City nominated <br />from Wards 2, 4 and 6 of said city; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in addition, pursuant to Ordinance No. NS-2074 <br />and Resolution No. 90-077 of the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana, the following ballot measures were submitted to the voters of <br />the City of said election: <br /> <br />Measure AA <br /> <br />Shall Section 411 of the Charter be amended to <br />clarify that any member of the City Council <br />may place items on the city Council Agenda? <br /> <br />Measure BB <br /> <br />Shall Section 421 of the Charter be amended to <br />increase the limit on City contracts which may <br />be approved by the City Manager from $10,000 <br />to $15,000, with the contract limit to be <br />increased annually by a cost of living <br />adjustment? <br /> <br />Measure CC <br /> <br />Shall Section 424 be added to the Charter to <br />require the City Council to appoint a Charter <br />review committee after each federal census? <br /> <br />Measure DD <br /> <br />Shall Section 614 of the Charter be amended to <br />allow for a period longer than 90 days for the <br />filing of claims against the city when a <br />longer period is provided by State law? <br /> <br />Measure EE <br /> <br />Shall Sections 501 and 700 of the Charter be <br />amended to require city Council approval for <br />the appointments of City officers and depart- <br />ment heads by the City Manager? <br /> <br />Measure FF <br /> <br />Shall Section 702 of the Charter be amended to <br />remove a requirement that the Clerk of the <br />Council attach certificates to ordinances and <br />resolutions? <br /> <br /> <br />
