RJW:mb 12/17/90 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91- 002 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-102, REGARDING <br />DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR <br />PARKING STRUCTURES. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on <br />November 19, 1990, by Resolution No. 90-102, adopted those certain <br />"Design and Development Standards for Parking Structures;" which <br />standards were attached as Exhibit "A" to Resolution NO. 90-102; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to amend Resolution <br />No. 90-102 to add to items 4 and 9 the "Landscaping" requirements <br />under Section "V" of Exhibit "A"; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA that Exhibit "A," Section "V," entitled <br />"Landscaping," of Resolution No. 90-102 is hereby amended by adding <br />items 4 and 9 thereto, which items shall read as follows: <br /> <br />Landscape planters shall be provided at every other <br />parking level of the structure and be a minimum of <br />50% of the perimeter of that level. Minimum <br />planter dimensions shall have dimensions equal or <br />greater than a 4' width and 4' depth. An internal <br />drainage system and water proofing of the planters <br />shall be provided along with a drip-type irrigation <br />system. A proper soil planter mix shall be <br />specified on the landscape plan." <br /> <br />"9. <br /> <br />The plaza/courtyard area shall provide amenities <br />that encourage pedestrian use such as seating <br />areas, objects of art, or xericscape (dry climate) <br />planting areas. If water features are included in <br />the plaza/courtyard area or other landscaping <br />areas, the water feature shall use non-potable or <br /> <br /> <br />
