Significant Effect <br /> <br />The proposed project will result in the need for modifications to the City wastewater <br />system, to ensure that wastewater flows to the existing sewers with available capacity <br />and to provide adequate wastewater facilities for the Register site. <br /> <br />Finding <br /> <br />Finding 1: <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the <br />project which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental <br />effect identified in the Final E[R. <br /> <br />Facts in Support of the Finding <br /> <br />The following mitigation measures, which have been incorporated in the proposed <br />project, will substantially reduce the effects of the project on the City wastewater <br />system, to a level of insignificance: <br /> <br />The site planning' and final design for the expansion facility will be coordinated with <br />the County Sanitation Districts of Orange County. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />All the requirements of the County Sanitation Districts of Orange County and the <br />City of Santa Aha will be incorporated in the final design for the project. <br /> <br />All wastewater will be directed to the sewer facilities at Fruit Street and Grand <br />Avenue and no discharges will be directed to the sewers on Sixth Street. <br /> <br />t~. No new connections will be made to the existing 6-inch sewer line on Sixth Street. <br /> <br />Significant Effect <br /> <br />The existing storm drains and flows would be affected by the removal of the apartments <br />and carports, the construction of the production facility and the closure of Fruit and <br />Sixth Streets. <br /> <br />Finding <br /> <br />Finding 1: <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the <br />project which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental <br />effect identified in the Final EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in Support of the Finding <br /> <br />The following mitigation measures, which have been incorporated in the proposed <br />project, will substantially reduce the effects o( the project on the City storm water <br />system, to a level of insignificance; <br /> <br />The storm drains identified in Figure 3-0 in the Draft EIR will be incorporated in <br />the final design for the project and will be submitted to the City of Santa ^ns for <br />review and approval. <br /> <br />A detailed Hydrology and Hydraulic Study will be prepared by the Register to <br />support the final project design and proposed storm drain facilities. The costs for <br />this study shall be borne by the Register. <br /> <br />Il <br /> <br /> <br />
