TABLE 1 <br />MITIGATION MONITORING PROGRAM ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />Page ~ of 16 <br /> <br />Measure <br /> <br />The Register will enter into negotiations with representatives of the <br />Sad~eback View Neighborhood Assn. on the height and building <br />material for a fence/soundwall to be constructed along the eastern <br />boundary of the Register property between Sixth and Fruit Streets. <br /> <br />Relocation Referral Assistance <br /> <br />The following COUnseling and housing referral services will be <br />provided to the apartment tenants: <br /> <br />a. Each household in the project area will be personally contacted <br /> by an assigned Relocation Specialist. Case assignments wilt last <br /> for the duration of the relocation process. At the time of the <br /> initial interview, ell the relocation assistance benefits to be <br /> made available by the Register will be fully explained. The <br /> assigned relocation staff will possess the necessary language <br /> skills to assist and communicate with all tenants. <br />b. Printed information statements in English and Spanish will he <br /> distributed to all households. Signed acknowledgments will be <br /> obtained to verify receipt of this material by each household. <br /> <br /> c. Appropriate replacement housing referrals will he made to <br /> dispiacees on e timely basis. Field surveys will be conducted on <br /> an on-going basis in order to identify available housing resources <br /> and maintain a current referral base. Every effort will be made <br /> to find housing units for displaces which are in close proximity <br /> to the places of employment, public transportation, public <br /> schools, shopping areas and medica! facilities currently used by <br /> the dispiacees. <br /> <br />d. if necessary, transportation will he provided to any displaced <br /> occupant to inspect replacement sites within the local area. <br /> <br /> e.
