<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />
<br />Councilman Heinly, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br />"Resolution No. 61-226 initiating proceedings for the annexation
<br />of territory to the City of Santa Aha after the City Council
<br />of the City of Garden Grove had received the written consent
<br />of all of the owners of all of the real property within the
<br />territory and had consented to the detachment of said terri-
<br />tory by Resolution No. 1742-61, designating an appropriate
<br />name for said territory of 'Verano and Roberts - West Annex'
<br />and giving notice of protest hearing thereon"
<br />
<br />and setting hearing date on November 6, 1961, was considered and passed by the fol-
<br />
<br />lowing vote:
<br />

<br />Noes, Councilmen No~e
<br />Absent, Councilmen Henry H. Schlueter, A. A. Hall
<br />
<br />The' Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of
<br />
<br />Councilman Heinly, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Ordinance entitled~
<br />
<br />"Ordinance No. NS-537 establishing the R-4 (Suburban Apa~tment)
<br /> District; providing regulations applicable thereto and adding
<br /> new Sections 9230.120, 9230.121, 9230.122, 9230.123, 9230.124,
<br /> 9230.125, 9230.126, 9230.127, 9230.128, 9230.129, 9230.130,
<br /> 9230.132, 9230.133 and 9230.13~ to Part 3 of Chapter 2 of
<br /> Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code"
<br />
<br />which said additions are to be to those Sections of said Code known as "Zoning
<br />
<br />Ordinance of 1960", was considered and passed by the following vote:
<br />

<br />On motion of Councilman Brewer, seconded by Heinly and carried, action on the Ordi-

<br />nance regulating the operation of food vending and delivery trucks and wagons was
<br />
<br /> continued to the next meeting.

<br /> City of Costa Mesa "Kaiser No. 1 - Corrected," advising the boundaries of the pro-
<br /> posed annexation meet the approval of the County Surveyor's Office in respect to
<br /> Secticm 35002 of the Government Code,

<br /> Minute Order from the Board of Supervisors, dated September 5, 1961, advising
<br /> a copy of an Excerpt from the Minutes of the City Council meeting held August 21,
<br />~approvingthe plans and specifications for the construction of the East Garden Grov~e-
<br /> Wintersburg Channel, from Newhope Street to Easter Retarding Basin, Project C-5,
<br /> was received and ordered filed,
