REL:mb 6/6/91 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-052 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ENDORSING <br />CERTAIN REGIONAL FUNDING PROGRAM <br />CONSISTENCY AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA <br />AS THE DEFINITION OF, AND PROCESS <br />FOR DETERMINING, CONSISTENCY OF THE <br />CITY'S TRAFFIC CIRCULATION PLAN WITH <br />THE ORANGE COUNTY MASTER PLAN OF <br />ARTERIAL HIGHWAYS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city of Santa Ana desires to maintain and <br />improve the streets and roads within its jurisdiction; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City supports regional coordination of <br />transportation improvements; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to use funds collected from the <br />Revised Orange County Traffic Improvement and Growth Management <br />Ordinance for transportation maintenance and improvement projects; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Revised Orange County Traffic Improvement <br />and Growth Management Ordinance states that within six months after <br />approval of the Retail Tax by the electors, the Orange County Local <br />Transportation Authority (OCLTA), through a cooperative process <br />involving the County and all of the cities within the County, shall <br />adopt a definition of, and a process for, determining consistency <br />of each jurisdiction'$ Traffic Circulation Plan with the Master <br />Plan of Arterial Highways (MPAH); <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, representatives from the OCLTA, City Engineers <br />Association, City Managers Association and the County of Orange <br />have developed a definition of, and process for, determining <br />consistency of each jurisdiction's Traffic Circulation Element with <br />the MPAN (Exhibit A) which was endorsed by a unanimous vote of the <br />Orange County Division of the League of California cities; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana hereby endorses the Regional Funding Program <br />Consistency and Eligibility Criteria as included in Exhibit A as <br /> <br /> <br />
