Approval Process <br /> <br />Upon completion, of .c he review, a Jo£nC commiutee of city and county <br />representatives will make recommendations for eligibility to =he Orange County <br />Transportation Authoriuy for Measure M, CRP, and OCUTTprograms and to the County <br />Board of Supervisors for Arterial Mighway Financing Program. These <br />rs~ommendations shall be reviewed and formally approved by 0CTA and the Board. <br /> <br />RE-ESTABLISHING PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY <br /> <br />Once e city has been determined to be ineligible for regional funds, it may seek <br />to re-establish eligibility by requesting a cooperauive suudy be undertaken with <br />County. The study will be designed to 1) ascertain the re&ional transportation <br />system need, 2) make provisions to meet =hose needs in the city General Plan and <br />3)re-establish consistency with the MPA/4. Any changes =o =he city General Plan <br />or the MPAH shell be mutually acceptable co the city and the county. Un=il such <br />a study has been completed, the City shall be ineligible co receive applicable <br />funds. <br /> <br />MIfflr'UAL CHANGES TO CIRCULATION ELEM'EIS~F AND MPAH <br /> <br />A city and the County may mutually revise =heir respective circulation elements <br />through the cooperative process outlined above. Ci~ies shell continue to be <br />eligible to receive funds while the cooperative study process is underway. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
