, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-055 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TRE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE ORANGE COUNTY <br />TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION TO ALLOCATE ORANGE <br />COUNTY UNIFIED TRANSPORTATION TRUST (OCUTT) <br />FUNDS FOR SEVENTEENTH STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br />FROM GRAND AVENUE TO CABRILL0 PARK DRIVE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 1512, Statutes of 1985 allows the Orange <br />County Transportation Commission to allocate funds from the rapid <br />transit reserve to local agencies for the improvement, <br />construction, or repair of local streets and roads; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Commission <br />approved the OCUTT Streets and Roads Program on May 31, 1990 for <br />Fiscal Year 1990-91; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the three-year program includes $286,713.05 in <br />Fiscal Year 1990-91 for a street reconstruction project on <br />Seventeenth Street between Grand Avenue and Cabrillo Park Drive. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana hereby requests the Orange County <br />Transportation Commission allocate $29,110.74 for construction <br />engineering and $228,931 for construction for a total of <br />$258,041.74 in OCUTT funds to the City. This request is in <br />conformance with the OCUTT allocation process and does not exceed <br />ninety (90) percent of the OCUTT allocation programmed for the <br />project. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Santa Aha agrees <br />to fund its share of the improvement costs in Fiscal year 1990-91 <br />and any additional costs over the programmed OCUTT amount of <br />$286,713.05. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Santa Aha has <br />awarded the contract for the project on Seventeenth Street for <br />$653,872. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Santa Aha has 1) <br />designed the project improvements in accordance with the City's <br />design standards; 2) acquired right-of-way for the project in <br />conformance with the City's policies and procedures; and 3) <br />completed and certified all required environmental documentation <br />for the project. <br /> <br /> <br />
