REL: 7/5/91 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-072 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE <br />ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA (GPA 90-9, AS IT PERTAINS <br />TO THE AREA NORTH OF FIRST STREET <br />BETWEEN SPURGEON AND LAcY STREETS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, <br />after duly noticed public hearing, approved an amendment to the <br />General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the initial <br />environmental study and negative declaration prepared for such <br />proposed General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hearing, <br />concurs in the Planning Commission's approval of said General Plan <br />amendment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The adoption of the said General Plan amendment will not <br />have a significant effect on the environment, and the negative <br />declaration prepared for said amendment is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. That exhibit numbered 4, attached hereto, is hereby <br />incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> 3. The "Land Use Plan" of the Land Use Element of the General <br />Plan of the City of Santa Ana is hereby amended in the following <br />particulars. <br /> <br />The following areas delineated in Exhibit 4 is rede- <br />signated from their current land use categories to the <br />land use categories specified for them respectively <br />hereinbelow: <br /> <br />Exhibit Area Category <br /> <br />4 3 <br />4 4 <br /> <br />General Business District <br />Medium Density Residential <br /> <br /> 4. Any real property which on or before the date of this <br />Resolution meets either or both of the following conditions shall, <br />at the option of the owner of the property, be subject to the land <br />use and density limitations of the General Plan as it existed <br />immediately prior to its amendment by this Resolution: <br /> <br /> <br />
