Melton were Unaware of the filing of said map <br />and due to lack of information they are not in a position at this time to accept or <br />agree to the conditions listed in the Planning Department's letter dated December 27, <br />1961. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, action was <br />~continued until the next meeting on Preliminary Record of Survey Map No. 2~2, filed <br />by Hubert and Rena Melton. <br /> <br /> Co~nication was presented fr~n the Planning Department recommending approval of Pre- <br /> liminary Record of Survey Map No. 2S~, filed by J. & J. Development Co.~ creating two <br /> lots located on the south side of Eighth Street approximately lbs feet east of Baker <br /> Street, subject to conditions. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer <br /> and carried, Preliminary Record of Survey Map No. 2B4~ filed by J. & J. Development <br /> Co. was approved~ subject to conditions. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the communication <br /> from the Planning C~mnission was received and filed, recommending approval of <br /> annexation to the City of territory designated "Memory Lane and Westwood North Annex,' <br /> consisting of approximately five acres located on the north side of Memory Lane <br /> <br /> Baker and Towner Streets~ if extended. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councllw~u Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, action was continued <br /> until the meeting of February 5, 1962, on the Agreement with the County increasing <br /> the impoUnding fees for dogs from $1.00 to $2.00 and the feeding fees for cats from <br /> <br /> 25 cents to 50 cents each; also, letter offering complete animal control service, <br /> <br /> an agreement. <br /> <br />The Conncil having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution~ on motion of <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the following Resolution en- <br />titled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 62-2 accepting deed where the City is <br /> paying no cash consideration" <br /> <br /> from Orange County Law Building, a California Corporation, conveying a street <br /> <br /> on the north side of Eighth Street, west of Birch Street, was considered and passed <br /> the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E.
