RESOLUTION NO. 91-085 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO PROVIDE A GENERAL SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR CERTAIN UNAFFILIATED CLASSES OF PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and WH~,EAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation Plan for officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and WHEREAS, the recently approved memorandum of understanding between the City and the Service Employees International Union, Local 1939, AFL-CIO, CLC, which represents a majority of part-time classes of employment in the City, provides an across-the-board wage increase of 7.0% effective July 1, 1991; and WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to adjust the base wages assigned to classes of part-time employment not affiliated with any representational unit effective September 1, 1991. NOW, IHEREFO~, BE IT RESO~ BY THE CI~ CO~ClL ~ THE CI~ ~ SANTA ANA: 1. That Section 3.5 o£ Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows: Section 3.5 CLASS TITLES ANDWAGERATESFORSEASONAL AND OTHER UNAFFILIATED CATAGORIES OF PART-TIME ~MPLOYMENT. Part-time workers employed under the following class titles shall receive wages based on the hourly pay rates as set forth below, effective September 1, 1991: Class Title Step A Step B Step C Administrative Intern $ 8.10 $ 8.55 $ 9.00 Law Clerk 10.00 10.75 11.50 Senior Administrative Intern 9.75 10.25 10.75 Senior Tutor 9.50 10.00 10.50 Student Intern 4.75 5.00 5.25 Tutor 8.00 8.40 8.80
