· 337 <br /> <br />REL: 9/6/9~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-087 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING <br />THE FLOWER PARK PERMIT PARKING <br />DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XI (commencing with Section 36- <br />480) of Chapter 36 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, the City <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana is authorized to adopt resolutions <br />establishing Permit Parking Districts wherein parking restrictions <br />apply to all vehicles except vehicles which have been issued <br />parking permits pursuant to said Article; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council finds and determines that the Flower <br />Park residential neighborhood is in need of parking restrictions to <br />protect its integrity from the intrusion of vehicular parking <br />incidental to commercial and governmental activities; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The Flower Park Permit Parking District is hereby esta- <br />blished, to consist of that area of the City of Santa Ana deline- <br />ated on the map attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated <br />herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> 2. No person shall park any vehicle between the hours of <br />8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted) <br />on any portion of any street within the Flower Park Permit Parking <br />District as to which signs have been erected indicating the <br />application of permit parking restrictions, except persons who are <br />entitled to a permit to park on such street or portion thereof <br />pursuant to this resolution and who display such permit in <br />accordance with section 36-488(a) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> 3. The Executive Director of Public Works is hereby <br />authorized to determine which streets or portions thereof within <br />the Flower Park Permit Parking District shall be restricted to <br />permit parking in accordance with section 2 of this resolution and <br />to post appropriate signs giving notice of such restriction; <br />provided, however, that permit parking restrictions shall not apply <br />to the side of any street adjacent to any parcel which has more <br />that four dwelling units on it or which has any non-residential use <br />on it. <br /> <br /> 4.
