No. 355 <br />Jesse OJeda <br /> <br /> This being the date set for the continued hearing on Amendment Application No. 355 <br /> filed <br />~y Jesse OJeda, amending Sectional District Map 8-5-9, to reclassify from the R-1 <br /> <br /> to the C-5 and R-1-B Districts, property on the south side of Seventeenth Street, <br /> <br />between Mabury and Wright Streets (the southwest corner of Mabury and Seventeenth <br /> <br />Streets), all as shown on Exhibit A. No. 370 <br /> ~ears, Roebuck and Co. <br /> ~rdinance <br /> <br />filed by Jesse OJeda. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 370, filed by Sear <br />Roebuck and Co., amending Sectional District Map 2h-5-10, to reclassify frcm C-l, <br />R-l~ R-2 Districts to the C-2 District~ property bounded by Pomona Street on the <br /> <br />north, Main Street on the east, C~ercial Street on the south, and Broadway on th~ <br /> <br />west, all as shown on Exhibit A.A. 370A; J. Ogden Markel, 1814 South Parton Street, <br /> <br />requested that the block bounded on the south by Pc~ona Street, on the north by <br /> <br />Edinger Avenue, on the west by Sycamore Street, on the east by Main Street, and <br /> <br />immediately north of the block described in Amendment Application No. 370, be <br /> <br />zoned C-2. E. C.Missildine, Manager, Sears, Roebuck and Co., recommended approval <br />of the Amendment Application as the area ~,,nediate!y north is zoned C-2 and this is <br />not considered spot zoning. ~Communication was presented from Stiles & Robert <br />Clements, Architects, submitting Plot Plan with reference to driveways on Pemona <br />Street. On motionof Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and <br />carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to <br /> change District Classification on Amendment Application No. 370 <br /> and amending Sectional District Map 2~-5-10 (Exhibit A.A. 370A) <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placedon file for second reading. <br /> <br />Hearing <br />Amend. Appl. No. 371 <br />~ontgomery Park <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing bn Amendment Application No. 371, filed by Mont <br />gomery Park, amending Sectional District Map 15-5-10, to reclassify from A-1 Distri, <br />to R-1 District~ property situated in Tracts 4244 and 4227, 176 residential lots, <br />located east of Harbor Boulevard, west of the Santa Ana River and immediately south <br />of the Pacific Drive-In Theater and Sugar Avenue, all as shown on Exhibit A .A. 371Ai <br />no protests were received and the hearing closed.
