REL: 1/15/92 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92- 011 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA FINDING THAT THE <br />PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE SOUTH HARBOR <br />REDEVELOPMENT PLAN WILL NOT NECESSITATE <br />FORMATION OF A PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Santa Ana Redevelopment Commission (the <br />"Commission") has undertaken proceedings to amend the South Harbor <br />Redevelopment Plan; however, the amendment will not enlarge the <br />project area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 33385 of the California Health and <br />Safety Code does not require formation of a Project Area Committee <br />to amend a Redevelopment Plan, but Section 33385.5 does require <br />review of the amendment by the Project Area Committee if one <br />exists, or expansion of an existing Project Area Committee if the <br />amendment will enlarge the project area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a Project Area Committee for the South Harbor <br />Redevelopment Project Area does not currently exist; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed amendment to the South Harbor <br />Redevelopment Plan does not include extension of the Agency's power <br />of eminent domain. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA that the City Council hereby determines that the <br />proposed amendment to the South Harbor Redeveloment Plan will not <br />enlarge the project area boundaries nor extend the Agency's power <br />of eminent domain and, therefore, does not necessitate formation of <br />a Project Area Committee. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 3rd <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~l~eolC' thGeUYcou/c, 1~--/ <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br /> February , 1992. <br />~ayor <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />Young Aye <br />Pulido Aye <br />Acosta Aye <br />Griset Aye <br />McGuigan Aye <br />Norton Nay <br />Richardson Aye <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
