REL: 4/21/92 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92'036 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA DENYING CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. 92-002, WHICH <br />SOUGHT TO ALLOW A THRIFT STORE AT 301½ <br />NORTH MAIN STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council held a public hearing on April 20, 1992, <br />on Conditional Use Permit Application No. 92-002, which sought to <br />allow a thrift shop at 301~ North Main Street; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Based upon the evidence submitted at the abovesaid hearing <br />this Council finds and determines that the proposed business <br />operation on the subject property is a pawn shop, and that as such <br />it will damage the image of the downtown area of the City, <br />discourage the location of other businesses there, and have a <br />generally blighting influence on the area.
