287 RESOLUTION 92-047 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD A CLASSIFICATION TITLE TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN, AND TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ALLOCATE CERTAIN POSITIONS. WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the city of Santa Ana requires the city Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service r~les and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and, WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the City of Santa Ana; and, WHEREAS, on July 6, 1992, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. NS-2163, which establishes the City's Budget authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1992-93, and which sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; and, WHEREAS, the implementation of two new City programs requires the addition of a title to the City's Basic Classification and Compensation Plan and the allocation of certain positions to the Fiscal Year 1992-93 Budget; and, WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resolution No. 82-110 and the Fiscal Year 1992-93 Budget in order to effect these changes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: 1. That Section 3 of Resolution 82-110, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding the classification title of Community Preservation Coordinator at Salary Rate Range No. 608, $4,054 to $4,930 per month. (Rate Range No. 614 is effective July 1, 1993.)
