477 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 92-072 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 85-27 TO <br />PROVIDE FOR GENERAL PAY INCREASE AS PROVIDED TO <br />OTHER AFFILIATED AND UNAFFILIATED PART-TIME <br />CLASSIFICATIONS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the <br />City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and <br />maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil <br />service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 4, 1985, the City Council passed and <br />adopted Resolution No. 85-27 establishing the exempt class of <br />Management Intern in the Office of the City Manager; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has, from time to time, amended <br />said resolution to provide a general increase in base pay as <br />provided to other part-time employees; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 20, 1992, the City Council provided <br />Represented and Unaffiliated Part-time classifications a general <br />three-and-one-half percent (3.5%) increase in base wages; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to provide a similar <br />general pay increase to the exempt class of Management Intern <br />effective July 1, 1992. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 2 of Resolution No. 85-27 is hereby amended <br />by increasing the assigned hourly rates for the exempt class of <br />Management Intern from ($12.35-$13.00) to ($12.80-$13.45). <br /> <br /> 2. That, except as amended by this Resolution, all other <br />provisions of Resolution No. 85-27 shall remain in full force and <br />effect. <br /> <br /> <br />
