497 <br /> <br />REL:mb 7/21/92 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-074 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA CONCERNING THE STATUS OF THE <br />CIRCULATION ELEMENT FOR THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to maintain and improve <br />the streets within its jurisdiction, including those arterials <br />contained in the Master Plan of Arterial Highways (MPAH); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has endorsed a definition of <br />and a process for, determining consistency of the city's Traffic <br />Circulation Plan with the MPAH; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has adopted a General Plan Circulation <br />Element which does not preclude implementation of the MPAH within <br />its jurisdiction; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is required to send annually to the County <br />of Orange all recommended changes to the City Circulation Element <br />and the County Master Plan of Arterial Highways for the purpose of <br />requalifying for participation in the Arterial Highway Financing <br />Program, Combined Road Plan Program and Measure M's Streets and <br />Roads Programs. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Santa Ana, <br />does hereby inform the County of Orange and the Orange County Local <br />Transportation Authority that: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />The arterial highway portion of the City Circulation <br />Element of the City is in conformance with the County <br />Master Plan of Arterial Highways. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />The city attests that no unilateral reduction in through <br />lanes has been made on any MPAH arterials during Fiscal <br />Year 1991-92. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />The city has adopted a uniform setback ordinance <br />providing for the preservation of rights-of-way <br />consistent with the MPAHarterial highway classification. <br /> <br /> <br />
