Hlt l ! <br />RE~OT,~'~ION NO. 92-001 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PROJECT AREA <br />COMMITTEE FOR PROPOSED EDUCATIONAL AND <br /> COMMUNITY FACILITIES REDEVELOPMENT <br />PROJECT OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ADOPTING A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Project Area Committee for the proposed <br />Educational and Community Facilities Redevelopment Project has been <br />established by Resolution 92-023 of the city Council of the City of <br />Santa Aha, adopted March 16, 1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Fair Political Practices Commission of the State <br />of California, by its opinion number 86-001, dated May 12, 1987, <br />has determined that members of a Redevelopment Project Area <br />Committee are "public officials" subject to the conflict of <br />interest provisions of the Political Reform Act; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is therefore necessary for the Project Area <br />Committee for the proposed Educational and Community Facilities <br />Redevelopment Project to adopt a Conflict of Interest Code in <br />accordance with the Political Reform Act; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Project Area Committee of <br />the proposed Educational and Community Facilities Redevelopment <br />Project that the Conflict of Interest Code for said Project Area <br />Committee shall consist of the model code set forth in Regulation <br />18730 of the Fair Political Practices Commission of the State of <br />California, incorporated herein by reference, together with the <br />following Appendix: <br /> <br /> 1. For purposes of the above said model code and the <br />Statement of Economic Interest forms (?PPC Form 730), all members <br />of the Project Area Committee shall be considered "designated <br />employees- who are required to file such Statements of Economic <br />Interest forms. All such members shall be considered to be in the <br />same "disclosure category," which requires reporting of the types <br />of interests hereinbelow described. <br /> <br /> 2. Each member of the Project Area Committee shall report <br />any and all of the following types of economic interests held or <br />received by such member during the period covered by such member's <br />Statement of Economic Interest: <br /> <br />(a) Any interest in real property which is located in or <br /> adjacent to the Project Area. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Investments in any business entity which owns or leases <br />real property or building space which is located in or <br />adjacent to the Project Area. <br /> <br /> <br />
