057 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93- 009 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE <br />DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN RECORDS IN <br />THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA that the destruction by the Chief of Police of the following <br />records of the Police Department is hereby approved, in accordance <br />with Government Code Section 34090: <br /> <br />Ail personnel, background, applicant, polygraph and <br />psychological files on former employees and applicants <br />for employment in the Police Department which are more <br />than three (3) years old, except that records of citizen <br />complaints regarding peace officers and any reports or <br />findings relating thereto shall be maintained for at <br />least five (5) years. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 1st <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />J~ni/ce C.
