117 <br /> <br />REL:mb 2/3/93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93- 020 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BUILDING AS <br />HISTORICAL PROPERTY FOR INCLUSION IN THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA REGISTER OF HISTORIC PROPERTY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana has <br />provided, in Chapter 30 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code for the <br />maintenance of the City of Santa Ana Register of Historical <br />Property, to include such property as the City Council determines <br />to have architectural or historical significance in accordance with <br />the standards set forth in Section 30-2 of the said Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, designation of property as Historical Property <br />promotes rehabilitation by allowing the application of the State <br />Historical Building Code, and, as to property within a historical <br />rehabilitation area, by giving eligibility for historical <br />rehabilitation on financing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the property set forth hereinafter has been <br />reconu~ended for designation as Historical Property by the Housing <br />Advisory Comm%ssion; <br /> <br /> 1. The following building is found to meet the standards for <br />designation as historical property set forth in Section 30-2 of the <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code and is hereby designated as Historical <br />Property, to be included in the City of Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical property: <br /> <br />THE HAMAKER HOUSE <br /> <br />1131 W. CIVIC CENTER DRIVE <br /> <br /> 2. For the abovesaid property, the report entitled <br />"Historical Property Description," on file in the office of the <br />Clerk of the Council, is hereby approved and adopted as the <br />findings justifying designation as Historical Property. The Clerk <br />of the Council is authorized and directed to include such report, <br />together with this resolution, in the city of Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Property. <br /> <br /> <br />
