613 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO.93-052UNC~ <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CO <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA FINDINGs.THAT THE ~S~ ~' ~ <br /> OF TAXES ALLOCATED FR~Q~"T~OHM~,T,~, ',, ,/~ <br /> FACILITIES IHPROV~T ~-~RED~.L~.~-~ . ~ ~ <br /> MENT PROJECT FO~I"H_E.~H~SE O~P~-~ ~/~~ <br /> ING ~D INCR~S~E CO~I~~~~ <br /> <br /> O~SIDE THE P <br /> BENEFIT TO THE P~~ev~i~ <br /> ~ER~S, the Co.unity of the city of <br />Santa Ana, acting as theCo~unit~ Agency of the City <br /> section 3 <br />of Santa ~a pursuant to ~f the Co.unity Redevelop- <br />ment Law. has prepared and approved a redevelopment plan for the <br />Co.unity Facilities Improvement Plan redevelopment project and <br />submitted the same to the City Council for adoption; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said redevelopment plan provides for the <br />allocation of taxes from the project area to the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana in accordance with <br />section 33670 of the Community Redevelopment Law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 33334.2 of the Community Redevelopment Law <br />requires that not less than twenty percent of all taxes so <br />allocated be used by the Agency for the purpose of improving and <br />increasing the community's supply of low and moderate income <br />housing available at affordable housing cost, unless certain <br />findings are made; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 33334.2(g) of the Community Redevelopment Law <br />provides that the Agency may use such funds outside the project <br />area if a finding is made by resolution of the Agency and the city <br />Council that such use will be of benefit to the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA that the use of taxes allocated from the Community <br />Facilities Improvement Plan project area for the purpose of <br />improving and increasing the community's supply of low and moderate <br />income housing available at affordable costs outside the project <br />area and within the City of Santa Aha will be of benefit to the <br />project. <br /> <br /> <br />
