083 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93- 068 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA CONCERNING THE STATUS OF THE <br />CIRCULATION ELEMENT FOR THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city of Santa Ana desires to maintain and <br />improve the streets within its jurisdiction, including those <br />arterials contained in the Master Plan of Arterial Highways (MPAH); <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has endorsed a definition <br />of and a process for, determining consistency of the City's Traffic <br />Circulation Plan with the MPAH; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has adopted a General Plan Circulation <br />Element which does not preclude implementation of the MPAH within <br />its jurisdiction; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city has adopted a resolution informing the <br />County of Orange that the City's Circulation Element is in <br />conformance with the County's Master Plan of Arterial Highways and <br />whether any changes to any arterial highways of said Circulation <br />Element have been adopted by the city during Fiscal Year 1992-93; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is required to send annually to the <br />County of Orange all recommended changes to the City Circulation <br />Element and the County Master Plan of Arterial Highways for the <br />purpose of requalifying for participation in the Arterial Highway <br />Financing Program and Measure M's Streets and Roads Programs. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Santa Ana <br />does hereby inform the County of Orange and the Orange County <br />Transportation Authority that: <br /> <br /> a. The arterial highway portion of the City Circulation <br />Element of the City is in conformance with the County Master Plan <br />of Arterial Highways. <br /> <br /> b. The City attests that no unilateral <br />through lanes has been made on any MPAH arterials <br />Year 1992-93. <br /> <br />reduction in <br />during Fiscal <br /> <br /> c.
