RESOLUTION NO. 93-073 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECU- TION AND DELIVERY OF A JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE COMMUNITY REDEVEL- OPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA WHEREAS, the City of Santa ana (the "City") and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Aha (the "Agency") desire to create and establish, pursuant to the laws of the State of California, the Santa Ana Financing Authority (the "Authority"); and WHEREAS, there has been presented to this meeting a proposed form of Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement, dated as of August 1, 1993, (the "Agreement"), by and between the City and the Agency, which Agreement creates and establishes the Authority; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana as follows: 1. The proposed form of Agreement, on file with the Clerk of the Council and incorporated into this Resolution by reference, is hereby approved. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed, for and in the name and on behalf of the City, to execute and deliver, and the Clerk of the Council is hereby authorized to attest, seal and deliver, the Agreement, in substantially said form with such changes or additions thereto that may hereafter become necessary in the interests of the City, any such additions or changes to be conclusively evidenced by the execution and delivery of the Agreement. 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption.
